FORCEFLEX™ Adjustable Hall Effect Joysticks
The Vader 5 Pro uses Flydigi’s patented FORCEFLEX™ joystick structure together with Hall Effect sensing. The design uses a bearing structure, tension ring and lever-based centering mechanism to reduce friction and improve recentering accuracy.
The physical tension rings allow resistance to be adjusted from 40gf to 100gf directly on the controller. Lower resistance can provide faster stick movement, while higher tension can offer more controlled aiming and tracking.
Flydigi states that its FORCEFLEX design maintains deviation as low as approximately 3% after 10 million cycles in its internal testing, emphasizing long-term centering stability.
1000Hz Polling & Ultra-Low Latency
The Vader 5 Pro supports up to 1000Hz polling in wired USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless modes. Independent testing also records approximately 1000Hz operation in both modes.
Flydigi specifies stick latency of approximately:

FORCESWITCH™ Dual-Mode Triggers
The Vader 5 Pro features FORCESWITCH™ triggers, allowing each trigger to physically switch between two operating modes.
Hall Effect Analog Mode provides full-range analog input with 256 levels of sensing, ideal for racing games where gradual throttle and braking control are important.
Micro-Switch Mode changes the trigger into a short, click-style input designed for rapid activation in FPS and action games. This is a true mode change rather than simply reducing trigger travel.
Mechanical ABXY Buttons
All four ABXY buttons use mechanical micro-switches rather than conventional membrane contacts.
The mechanical design provides crisp tactile feedback and fast actuation, making repeated button presses and quick combinations feel more defined.
Rotary-Pivoted D-Pad 2.0
Flydigi equips the Vader 5 Pro with its Rotary-Pivoted D-Pad 2.0, designed to provide precise directional and diagonal inputs.
The pivoted structure makes the D-pad suitable for fighting games, platformers and other titles where accurate eight-direction control is important.

4-Motor Vibration System
The Vader 5 Pro uses a four-motor vibration system with dedicated feedback in both the controller grips and triggers.
This provides more detailed haptic feedback for supported racing, shooting and action games compared with conventional dual-motor controller layouts.
6-Axis Motion Control
A built-in 6-axis gyroscope provides motion-control capability for supported games and platforms.
Motion settings can also be configured through Flydigi’s software where supported.
